Now you can discover Västmanland in Dalarna! At least if you are attending a course at the Sätergläntan Institute for handicrafts and are staying in the so-called landscape house on Knippboberget. The new landscape room for Västmanland is a jubilee gift from the Västmanland County Homecraft Association to the Sätergläntan Institute for Crafts, which celebrated its 100th anniversary in 2023.
Most provinces are represented in a room in the provincial house on Knippboberget and now Västmanland is also represented. The new landscape room for Västmanland has good lighting, good charging facilities for both you and your devices, and literature related to the county and the landscape. The room has been renovated by Sätergläntan and the Västmanland County Crafts Association, which also provided the interior design.
Here, of course, there is a selection of handicrafts from the county, both functional and attractive. A room with function, information and tradition with a contemporary twist. Surely crafts can have a natural place in our daily lives!
